Pros

  • Rode a 161 Flagship for a long time, loved that board, but too stiff for moguls.
  • I just picked up a Jones Flagship and that board carves like a dream so far. I need to get it on something actually steep but so far it’s the best board I’ve been on.
  • I'll second the Jones Flagship. I'm 6'3, 225, size 12.5 boot. I ride a Flagship 164 wide and it's the absolute best.
  • I love my Jones Flagship for this type of riding.
  • I have a jones flagship and will be getting a new powder board this season.

Cons

  • I don't care for the Flagship personally... that shape requires speed or serious pitch to really come alive. I rode it at St Anton which has plenty of pitch and plenty of open space for speed, and I didn't care for it unless I was pushin...
  • Jones Flagship - too straight line bomber for me
  • Saw someone else recommend the Jones Flagship. Great board (I’ve also owned two of those), but has a totally different personality than the Baron, IMO. Thing is a stiff speed demon with very little personality. One of the least forgiving...
  • Jones Flagship
  • The Flagship might be too narrow: I have the regular one in wide and it’s only 26.4 cm.

Saw someone else recommend the Jones Flagship. Great board (I’ve also owned two of those), but has a totally different personality than the Baron, IMO. Thing is a stiff speed demon with very little personality. One of the least forgiving boards on the market and isn’t very fun to ride if you’re not going balls to the wall 100% of the time.
