I acknowledge that Abercrombie is a great writer, but oh boy did I really dislike The First Law.
If I don’t see another discussion of the Cosmere, Stormlight Archives, ASOIAF, Patrick Rothfuss, or Joe Abercrombie again it’ll be too soon.
Anyway, you're going to want to avoid Joe Abercrombie.
Abercrombie and ASOS both have tall sizing.
occasionally Abercrombie (quality varies)
Abercrombie in general is top quality.
The curve cuts through Abercrombie etc help get pants closer to fitting, but there’s generally too much fabric around the hips and not enough near my butt.
I have some Madewell and Abercrombie jeans I like but neither brand fits quite right either
I've worked through all the big recommendations Wheel of Time, Malazan, Joe Abercrombies work and so forth you name it. Some I've loved, some I've respected, but none have captured me the way Gemmell did when I was younger.
As a heavier female who is on a “new body” journey which is CONSTANTLY changing (like within the last year my jean size went from a 12 to a 14.) I buy mostly all of my clothes from Abercrombie. They are one of the few retailers who seem to stick to realistic sizes when it comes to women’s clothing (ie.. a large actually fits like a large..) Are their clothes the best quality I’ve ever had? No. But are they good? Yes. But the trick is to purchase when there’s a sale. NEVER buy full price lol.
