Hp business laptops like zbook and elitebook are reinforced at the hinges whereas the cheaper ones were not, so they snap at the hinge mounts.

Zbook are tanks. Heavy and strong. Not bad specs. We have them at work. I run linux on mine. Windows just makes them feel bad, especially the bloatware.

ZBooks are not affected by hinge related issues. The majority of HP's business hardware doesn't have hinge issues.

Hp does have the z book and spectre series which are also high end business class, I would guess they are better than they're regular laptops

If you can, get a workstation laptop instead, like a ZBook, Dell Precision or Thinkpad P (non S non V non P1) that are far better built.

Get an HP Zbook. They're shockingly well built
