Hotel Wailea

Pros

• They’re scattered, but I wouldn’t sweat it too too much, all the rooms are nice. If you want an upgrade you definitely need to book through a TA (even Amex FHR will usually result in an upgrade).
• Have stayed a couple times, and it's great. On Maui, you aren't going to find too many other places this quiet and peaceful. A world away from the beach resorts. The pool is very large and (again) quiet.
• Just stayed there last week. Great property. Phenomenal service. The pool is nice with lush greenery around the perimeter. However, there isn't a view and the vibe at the pool was super chill.
• Hotel wailea is amazing!! We had such a nice time there.
• Another option if you really want to do adults-only is Hotel Wailea on Maui, probably the best food and service I've experienced at a Hawaiian hotel (GM is a pretty terrifying looking German dude that runs a tight ship)

Cons

• The adults only very chill vibe, and suites are appealing. Previous posts say service here is outstanding. Don’t mind a short ride to the beach. However the pool looks like something you’d see in someone’s backyard which is throwing me off
• Parent context: OK now i think i might just be a brat because we didn't love hotel wailea!! it was a really nice hotel but didn't seem like a place to hang out all day (like you said) and no views or access of the ocean was a bummer. kin...
• We stayed at Hotel Wailea for 3 nights and it was too long for us. Two nights would have been better. So unless you really like longing by the pool daily and really like a very quiet atmosphere, I would say 5 nights is too long for that...
