Pros
- In the EU, Metabo non HPT, Bosch, or Hilti.
- Bosch professional and hilti are what major construction buy usually. They are very good.
- Hilts are good, but they do not have a big line. They are in the business of fastener, not really tools. They are great for rotary hammers, hammer drills, boring hammer and jack hammers.
- I'd also look into Hilti, though not made in the USA, they are up there in terms of quality.
- My dad has been bricklaying for about 30 odd years. He uses primarily milwaukee and hilti.
Cons
- alota builders on hilti know the knew batterys are crap the lad i subby into has changed a few already the grinder broke and the multi tool which is a beast hilticwhere very good replacing them tho as there all hp or rented.

once you’re locked into a battery platform, the only one worth switching to is Hilti. They‘re more limited in selection, but their tool quality and ease to work with are pretty hard to beat.

And there’s only three brands (that at least have my mindshare) left that are not part of an umbrella corporation; Makita, Hilti and Stihl. And oddly enough, they have similar reputation…funny that.
Bosch will not always drill the absolute fastest (commonly Makita will) but they will outlast every other brand with the exception of Hilti who also make a good hammer.
10 holes an hour hilti/bosch.
