Godox

Pros

• Adding my godox and battery grip BG R10, the whole set up weighs about 2-2.5kg, which is quite hefty and definitely requires time to adjust to.
• honestly go with godox, way more affordable and basically the same quality as canon speedlites. been using mine for a year in my dorm photography and zero complaints.
• And some of those pros would probably prefer the round head models like the V1Pro for better cooling or the brand spankin' new V100 for the touchscreen color UI and more power.
• I’m sure Godox probably has some affordable options as well.

Cons

• The V1 ($260)/V100 ($350) are great for pro use, but the added expense for what is, essentially, a cheap Chinese 3rd party flash, can be a bit heartburning if you end up with a lemon copy and your retailer doesn't honor the warranty
• Also the round head on the V1/V1Pro/V100 models makes the unit overall bulkier and heavier.
• I also bought three used fast primes (28, 50, and 85 equivalents), and a used Profoto speed light and remote after having a bad experience with Godox.
