Pros
- Also do enable FSRS if you haven't done so already, it generally leads to a smaller number of reviews.
- And turn on FSRS if you haven't already, you can lower desired retention to decrease workload as well.
- Parent context: Due to the chaotic nature of my process I'm using SM-2, as I'm afraid FSRS might get confused and I can't fix issues with it. Reply: Using super memo still for this many words is wild. Switch and thank me later
- FSRS has a postpone cards function that allows you to redistribute existing reps
- The FSRS algorithm works just fine by using these two buttons and it removes the decision paralysis on whether to press "hard", "good" or "easy".
Cons
- At some point I dropped FSRS down to 80% and it reduced to roughly 100 cards per day initially , however what I noticed was that my recall percentage TANKED (Went down from 84% to 70%), which caused that 100 cards per day to quickly jump...

FSRS On. Anki v. 25.07 or higher (FSRS-6). Both of the above are non-negotiable musts. Google FSRS if you want to learn more about it. It’s good and should be used.

Free Spaced Repetition Scheduler (FSRS) is a new scheduling algorithm that is more flexible and accurate than Anki's default algorithm. The FSRS optimizer uses machine learning to learn your memory patterns and find parameters that best fit your review history.
