Pros
- I just got mine. Haven’t added the attachments yet ( I do have them). So far everything works great. With as heavy as it is I expected no movement at all, there is a little but nothing that makes me nervous or annoys me. It’s way easier...
- We use it regularly, and it has a space in our gym for the foreseeable future. If you want to use all of the features (sans Reverse Hypers) this is the most decked out option on the market.
- The Hyper Pro is almost a must-have for the home gym imo, I run a PPL split and use mine every day.
Cons
- It is a great piece of equipment. Even the packaging was well thought-out. The only flaw for me is that the leg developer is huge and I have nowhere to put it (one of the ends is also a bit sharp). I am also taller and while the leg curl...
- But the size and cost need to be considered before adding it to your space.
- I was thinking about getting the Freak Athlete Hyper Pro too... Not sure. I don't like dropping tons of $ on gym equipment however that thing looks like it has a lot of use cases.
- I want one of these but the price is a bit outta my comfort zone for something I dont really need need.
- I can’t do 45 degree back extensions unfortunately. Even at the lowest setting, the pads don’t sit below my hip bones so I can’t get a good ROM. ... As someone with short arms, adjusting is a bit awkward. Putting it away is also awkward...

I just got mine. Haven’t added the attachments yet ( I do have them). So far everything works great. With as heavy as it is I expected no movement at all, there is a little but nothing that makes me nervous or annoys me. It’s way easier to setup than I expected based on the few complaints I’ve seen.
It is a great piece of equipment. Even the packaging was well thought-out. The only flaw for me is that the leg developer is huge and I have nowhere to put it (one of the ends is also a bit sharp). I am also taller and while the leg curl fits me just fine, the leg extension sits on my shin.
But the size and cost need to be considered before adding it to your space.

I can’t do 45 degree back extensions unfortunately. Even at the lowest setting, the pads don’t sit below my hip bones so I can’t get a good ROM. ... As someone with short arms, adjusting is a bit awkward. Putting it away is also awkward because it’s just so much taller than I am and it weighs as much as I do lol. But, they are correct, with the way it is designed, it doesn’t feel 110 lb at all. I LOVE all the Nordic progression! I LOVE that you can use the pad at the front to do Hip Thrusts and Bulgarian split squats.
The hyper pro looks cool but seems like it would be a bit of a headache to set up and change exercises.
2000+ and it’s clunky as hell to setup, no thanks.
The Hyper Pro is almost a must-have for the home gym imo, I run a PPL split and use mine every day.
