Pros

  • I second this review. I was also on the ship during this sailing and I can confirm that we did not experience any of the issues that Ryan explained on his video.
  • It exactly met my expectations. I expected a wonderful floating hotel room and good service. I got that I expected that the on shore excursions would be great. They were
  • The experience is like going to a Four Seasons Hotel. The level of service start to finish is excellent. ... Our floating hotel had an amazing room with an amazing view and it was serviced perfectly.
  • In some this was an excellent experience and for what we wanted and what it seems designed for the Four Seasons Yacht is excellent. Would I go again. For the right itinerary absolutely. The passenger size, crew/staff quality, great rooms...

Cons

  • Food and entertainment on the boat is limited. The Japanese restaurant will not make you forget a top meal in Tokyo but it is good. The fancy restaurant will not match a high end NYC meal but it is very good. The pool restaurant was ok....
  • I’m particularly critical of cleanliness in my rooms and the toenail discovery (among all the other discoveries) would have me packing my bags.
  • I would never consider booking unless FS made it clear they made significant changes. I was honestly grossed out at several points watching the video. Yuck!
  • Absolutely ridiculous to charge that much and then still have people pay for lunch, dinner, drinks, snacks etc.
  • I cannot believe how awful this experience was. They should be refunding his money or give him a free cruise a year later when they've worked everything out. It seems like it's new so there's kinks to workout, but for $26k his experience...

they’re constantly working on getting better as they are a hotel co getting into the cruise biz. I probably have a call once a week with them going “are you kidding me? We need to look at x, y, z” and to their credit… they have. ... They legit didn’t have a way to process that yet - since their systems would register us as not making the boat and kicking us off the system for security purposes. So it’s little things like that - but over time - they’ll sort it.
