Pros

  • The point is: it’s one of the best transit-connected hotels, probably in the world!
  • One of the better hotel gyms I have used - plus a full lap pool, whirlpool, and onsen. Great facilities and very usable if youre trying to relax and recharge.
  • The four seasons has a couple of different restaurants and of course Virtu. We hit Virtu every single night and loved it - great service and fantastic staff. Almost telepathic the amount of refills and snacks that they had provided to us.
  • Second all the FS Otemachi comments so far. Stayed there 5 nights. Very quite area on weekends, we enjoyed it a lot. Would ga back in a heartbeat.
  • Otemachi is great. We have stayed there 3 times as our base in Tokyo. The location can’t be beat for subway travel. The views are lovely. The breakfast is delicious. Virtu is a Worlds Best Bar.

Cons

  • The location sucks if you are there on the weekend since everything is closed, the service was awful, food terrible. The taxi the concierge organized for us to the airport tried to scam us by overcharging us and we had to fight with him....
  • FS Otemachi was literally the worst "luxury" hotel I've ever stayed at, bar none. It's like sleeping in an insurance company's mid-rise office building.
  • Personally tried Aman, MO, FS Otemachi and the new Bvlgari.
  • Next time we'd either go back or try the FS Otemachi.
  • The FS Otemachi, their breakfast was amazing, the view is nice, and the spa was great. We liked the hard product there as well. Their concierge was not that helpful though we appreciated the ease of getting a reservation at Sezanne.

FS Otemachi is a wonderful stay. They are in the same area so you won’t get a different district experience by moving.

FS Otemachi all the way! Moving and packing is a pain, I would just go and try one of the MO restaurants to experience it

Stayed at Otemachi last May and thought it was great! We loved the breakfast, the room was clean, service was great.

Never have I ever thought FS otemachi needed any kid of renovation. It’s still very new. Most of the hotels in that area require two elevators to go to the real lobby that is on the upper floors. That’s how you get the stunning views of the city.

The location sucks if you are there on the weekend since everything is closed, the service was awful, food terrible. The taxi the concierge organized for us to the airport tried to scam us by overcharging us and we had to fight with him. The double elevator is super annoying. There was trash leftover in our room from previous guest and it stayed in our room our entire stay.
