Ford Territory

The Ford Territory is generally well-regarded as a feature-rich and spacious crossover that offers a strong 'bang for your buck' in the Gulf market. While users praise its 1.8L turbo engine and modern interior tech, there is significant discussion regarding its Chinese manufacturing origins and how that might affect long-term reliability and parts availability compared to traditional Japanese or Korean competitors.
Pros
- 1.8L turbo Ecoboost engine provides better performance than naturally aspirated rivals
- High feature density, especially in the top-tier trims
- Spacious interior and comfortable ride quality
- Often includes comprehensive 5-year service and warranty packages
- Modern, sleek design and good resale value for its segment
Cons
- Unproven long-term reliability due to being a newer lineup
- Concerns regarding the availability and cost of spare parts
- Climate controls are integrated into the touchscreen, lacking physical knobs
- Mixed perceptions of build quality compared to non-Chinese Ford models
Caveats
- The vehicle is a product of Ford's Chinese operations, leading many users to categorize it alongside brands like MG or Haval rather than traditional American or Japanese SUVs.
- Opinions are split on value; some see it as a premium alternative to Chinese brands, while others question paying more for similar components.
Best for
- Buyers seeking a tech-heavy, spacious crossover with a strong warranty
- Drivers who prefer the punch of a small turbo engine over naturally aspirated engines
Avoid if
- You prioritize a long-standing track record of reliability from Japanese or Korean manufacturers
- You prefer physical buttons and knobs for essential functions like air conditioning

Starray, Haval H6, H7, V7. Ford territory
Currently leaning more toward Ford Territory as I can get 2025 model for the same price as 2024 Zrv. Not sure how true this, but I feel Ford might have a better chances of resale than Honda given I don't really see a lot of Zrvs on the road, and see a lot of Territory.
Territory is overpriced in my opinion
Ford Territory
Your pricing for ford territory is incorrect the petrol trim tops out at 108k and the hybrid if available at 119k plus you get 100k service and warranty so you should factor that in too
I have heard that the territory drives not that great on highway, so test drive it on highway.
Al Tayer provides 5 yr service which includes consumables except tyres and battery. Dealership wise it is good.
Ford Territory is a really good option too. The ADAS is trustable and works well
Very spacious interiors, and although expensive in new, you can get great deals in used, well below your budget. Has native carplay and android auto support too.
Do not get the Territory. It is not a Ford built in China, it is a Chinese car with a Ford logo on it.
