I've test driven a Ford Everest and a good friend of mine ended up buying it. I'm honestly VERY impress by the Everest. The 2.3 Ecoboost engine is solid with great torque, the car felt well planted on the highway AND the interior was very quiet (shocked me the most).
Another vote for the Everest. I was surprised by how refined the ride was

Checked out everest, I felt it's more of off road option. I'm buying for my wife who's mostly going to drive in city office school home so I'm not preferring such off road type cars.
The only thing is check ford everest as sometimes I miss proper 4x4
The Ford Everest represented best value for money, though with raised fuel prices, I'm paying between 220-250 for a full tank (570-650km) I also looked at the Nissan Pathfinder, Hyundai Santa Fe and Kia Sorento, but the Everest came out on top with 5 years of free service and warranty.
