Pros
- I'm using Garmin because you get more features than fitbit without sub.
- I had a cheap Fitbit that detected sleep so much better.
- I can’t remember if it was my Apple Watch or Fitbit, but mine warned me that my heart rate was unusually high for not moving around. I already suspected I might have had thyroid problems. A few days later I actually went into thyroid storm.

- her fitbit showed less restless periods during the night.
Cons
- I also went from Fitbit to Garmin and I can tell you that Fitbit is wrong (for me at least). Before I finally decided to dump the Fitbit - I was hiking up switchbacks, sucking down air, like I'm breathing HARD - weather was warm, incline...
- I have bought two Fitbits and they both clunked out within a couple years of purchasing them.
- I loved using my Fitbit for roughly 60-ish percent of the time I owned it. The last 40 percent was a lot of frustration and regret.
- I looked at my Fitbit and had slept for a total of three hours spread out over the course of the whole night.
- My Fitbit stopped working not even a year after purchasing it. I had it replaced under warranty but the same thing happened to the replacement shortly after.

I also went from Fitbit to Garmin and I can tell you that Fitbit is wrong (for me at least). Before I finally decided to dump the Fitbit - I was hiking up switchbacks, sucking down air, like I'm breathing HARD - weather was warm, inclines were fairly steep. Fitbit is like - "your heart rate is 90bpm". Ain't no way it was 90 bpm at the time.

The app, the user interface can’t be compared to Fitbit. I love knowing that I don’t have to pay for premium to see my analysis, or having a very laggy interface to see the number of steps I took.
