Pros

  • The more I research (Disclaimer: Also test drove Jetour and Exeed) about Chinese cars in the UAE, the more I feel good about them
  • Exeed feels more luxurious than BYD overall.
  • Jetour and Exeed are made by the same company Chery and they're good too.
  • Exceed is a hidden gem it's basically the Infiniti / Lexus of the Chery Group. They seem to be putting their most high-end equipment on those cars. Also when I test drove one the software and fit and finish seems really good.
  • like most chineese brands here, they all look to be really good bang for the buck compared to the traditional brands

Cons

  • Crap 💩 cars
  • Of the many brands I really wanted to like Exeed due to the more adult design and interesting value proposition (magnetic suspensions, real leather seats, range rover like design on the RX, etc) but I ended up far from impressed about th...
  • I did test drives for 2 of its vehicles. Although they are good but i find it little overpriced in terms of Chinese vehicles as in this range you will get so many better options.

Of the many brands I really wanted to like Exeed due to the more adult design and interesting value proposition (magnetic suspensions, real leather seats, range rover like design on the RX, etc) but I ended up far from impressed about the showroom experience and by my observation of the service centre facility were really disappointing.

I’d get the full option CX5. It’s so much car for the price. The only thing about that car is it’s rather old platform, but it’s rock solid at this point
