it's dangerous because this shit literally *kills people*. they're using their platform to spread and promote something objectively dangerous, it's not about "not liking a brand's way of thinking".

Ensley reign owner liking transphobic posts and following far right spokespeople on top of the AI art and egregiously price palettes

I think the “controversy” is just as you said, the use of AI on their covers and I think their owner was interacting with some transphobic posts and I think they doubled down when they were called out

I’m happy to add Kaima to the list with Ensley Reign.

I don’t follow or buy from them. But I’m particularly tired of people lying about her engagement when she clearly still uses her brand page for personal use.

Ensley Reign is still not a safe brand for a large portion of marginalized groups. Based on what I’ll show today, largely those with disabilities or illness.

I’m avoiding Ensley Reign because of their n@z! stuff.

after watching so many influencers bend over backwards defending Ensley Reign it's so nice to see one outright call them AI trash.

this brand used generative AI to create cover art for their eyeshadow palettes instead of hiring a real artist. when they got called out for it, they said it was a “cost saving measure to keep prices low for consumers.” then soon after, the brand’s instagram account was found to have “liked” several reels that were basically just transphobic rhetoric.
