Eau Duelle

Pros

• Somewhat of a cross between Diptyque’s *Tam Dao* and *Eau Duelle* with that smooth green vanilla, spicy pepper, creamy woods.
• I actually love Eau Duelle more but since you have lots of vanillas already, go for something different.

• Diptyque Philosykos and Eau Duelle are definitely worth trying
• One of the few vanillas I can stand, though almost no one ask about it can recognize that it’s a vanilla fragrance. It’s primarily aromatic and green.

Cons

• The only one I probably wouldn’t repurchase is Eau Duelle because I’ve come to accept that it has zero lasting power on me. Truly a shame because it’s just about the only vanilla I’ve really loved so far.
• A lot of stuff in the vein of Bal D'Afrique, Orpheon or Eau Duelle, various Chanel perfumes, etc.
• Diptyque Eau Duelle has incense sweetened with vanilla, but I think the balance won’t work for you. It’s too vanilla and not enough incense to be creepy. I do love it though!
• Parent context: Is eau duelle sweet? Reply: I think it is more incense-forward than gourmand.
