Dynamic Island

Pros

• Dynamic Island was also something I thought was a gimmick, but the real-world integration with apps like Uber Eats has actually changed how I use my phone. Live tracking, updates at a glance, no constant app switching. ITS SO SATISFYING 😭
• Having the “now playing” area always at the top? Fantastic. Long pressing it when something is playing on my Apple TV and using my volume rocker to change my TV volume without needing to open anything else? Brilliant. Seeing my Uber arri...

• I think Dynamic Island is really swell too!
• Agree, it makes useless space actually useful. Sports scores are huge for me. I spend a lot of my Saturdays and Sundays scoring my middle daughter’s club softball games and with Dynamic Island I can track scores without leaving Gamechanger.

Cons

• Yeah, some parts of the UI aren't optimized for the Dynamic Island.
• Still no fix for the huge Dynamic Island bug with the torch on if you have the phone in Spanish or some other European languages. Been a few years with no fix, what a joke.
• really appreciate how Android hardcore fanboys will keep spitting on the dynamic island and whatever forgetting it also houses the IR
• No. Especially since it cuts into content. The notch was slim enough that it never intruded into videos on YouTube and such. Now I’ve got part or all of the island intruding on one side reminding me it’s there.
