DJI Mini 2

Pros

• Or you can go into the second hand market and get a mini 2 for a really low price.
• I use a Mini 2 for travel and hiking etc. Packs into a small case (6”x6”x10”) with 4 batteries. I can get about 2 hours flight total.
• maybe start with a mini 2 if you have never flown before but these drones are specifically designed for what you need from it and have full stabilisation during flight
• The mini 4k is awesome for the price. I have the little brother, mini 2.
• I still have a Tello, Spark and Mini 2 and they all have different attitudes and make the rounds.

Cons

• I was trying to spot a treehouse in about an acre of woods this weekend using my dad’s mini 2. The field of view is extremely limited so I was at 375’ to give me a better chance of finding it.
• The Mini has a tendency to dance in even low wind a bit.
• The general population can barely afford a second hand Mini 2.
• This looks to me more of a competitor to the Mini 2 from a camera perspective.
• The mini 2 requires a phone to be used as a screen, and I just connect to a tablet instead
