Pros

• I just found my love for these this past season. Wasn’t expecting them to be as tall as they ended up being. I love the pollinators they attract
• Cosmos are so easy to grow from seed. Mine are still blooming a bit.

Cons

• Parent context: Grew mine from seed this year and they are all over 5 feet tall but have all fallen over so they are growing at weird angles towards the sun. It looks crazy! Reply: Ours fell over the walkway so we have to walk in grass....

• Some of the science is outdated, but on the whole is a wonderful book.
• I also grew a small batch of Cosmos from seed this year, and a few of them got powdery mildew. I just nipped the weakest powdery ones, and the rest had a growth spurt.
