Parent context: I have not! This was my first one of his books and I struggled to finish it so admittedly didn’t look at any of his other pieces of work. 😅 Reply: I feel like I should add—I just don’t think this type of horror genre is my thing. I tend to enjoy psychological or cosmic horror more.

Coffin moon wasn't bad but I kinda had a hard time rooting for the protagonists (not that I was pulling for the antagonist either, they all just seemed terrible). And felt like a couple places where he realized it was getting kinda lame and added something out of left field with no prior foreshadowing or mention of these things even being possible.
I just finished Coffin Moon after reading tons of positive reviews. What an excellent book! The author takes a trope that's been used thousands of times and makes it seem interesting and new. I just wanted to come on here and be another reader who highly recommends it!
