Chrono24

Chrono24 is a bad platform with little to no buyer protection... The listing included multiple photos and described the watch as being in “great condition.” When the watch arrived, I discovered significant damage to the crown and case that had not been shown in the listing photos... I contacted Chrono24 and explained the situation. Their response was essentially that they were siding with the seller because the seller had provided photographs.

I had a similar nightmare. The watch I received had damage to the dial that wasn’t in the photos, which I notified the seller about immediately. Then within an hour of wearing the watch the bezel insert fell out and examining the watch closer I realized the bezel itself was missing a gasket.

their whole “escrow service” is basically that they will hold onto the money until they force the buyer to give in, not until the transaction is actually completed successfully. And they will not hold up their own rules and they will side with the seller regardless of all logic.

I know it's anecdotal on your part, but more than 15% of your orders had an issue and that seems high enough to me to steer clear.

seems like chrono24 is happy for sellers to be selling counterfeit goods on their platform. buyer beware.

They are clearly protecting their high-volume sellers and burying anything that makes them look bad. Zero integrity.

There was basically no buyer protection that actually forced the seller to do anything. To send it back I had to eat about $300 in return shipping and insurance out of my own pocket, on a watch that wasn’t accurately represented in the first place.
