Cons
- On the other hand Chileno does seem very geared to families; we absolutely don’t mind being around kids some of the day but want to make sure it has plenty of quiet spaces and is otherwise good for couples.
- FWIW while I loved the resort overall I didn't find the kids club at Chileno Bay to be very drop-in friendly. They seemed to want half day or full day, or at least you had to pay for that.

Agree with Chileno being more truly swimmable. ... The multi bed set up at Chileno (can be turned into a 4br for nanny!) is excellent. I think ultimately it’s splitting hairs on style and vibe for both, but the swim ability at Chileno wins.
Chileno hands down. You’ll also have access to their sister property Esperanza’s restaurants via nightly shuttle.
Chileno multibedroom setups are awesome for families - it’s much more contemporary and more desert like landscaping compared to lush Palmilla. You can snorkel at Chileno which is super fun.
