Chase Trifecta

Pros

• I prefer Chase Trifecta. $95 annual fee.
• My setup has classically been the Chase trifecta.
• I don’t think the Trifecta was necessarily overhyped, it just was the most approachable strategy for the average person (and probably still is).
• Going Chase Trifecta - Points Boost actually fits me quite well.

Cons

• At first I had the Chase Trifecta, then I added the Amex gold back in 2020.
• I don’t feel like the chase trifecta is that good without the sign up bonuses compared to the BofA setup with platinum/platinum honors.
• I don't think the Chase trifecta is worth it by itself.
• The problems with the Chase trifecta have always been the catch all being not too strong and a lack of reliable grocery earning.
• The “Chase Trifecta” has always been overhyped by influencers being paid to market Chase cards. ... The earning rates are garbage. Across 3 cards you only get 3x on dining and 1.5x on everything else, plus a random 5% quarterly category...
