Reddit take

Not enough linked mention summaries yet; the source excerpts below are the evidence.

Pros

  • Cascade and Simcoe are great. Classic pairing.
  • Our 3 goto brands are Cascade, Finish, and Walmart.
  • I usually purchase Cascade, but next time I go will get the generic brand based on that dishwasher guy on YouTube.
  • Also enjoyed cascade, the California trail, powderbowl run, and the sky chute.
  • Cascade is a good, shorter option.

Cons

  • Any little addon like the fancy red dot on cascades does nothing to improve performance.
  • The first time I hiked Cascade, I had to turn around about .2 miles from the summit because of extreme wind. There were a few gusts that felt like they were going to blow me away & that sent me onto all fours.
  • Some nice runs but the sun beats down on a lot of them during the day so it can get pretty icy at times.

It's a great place to ride in the Midwest. Still family owned with relatively quick lifts and varying terrain for any skill level. ... Highly recommend, and kids ride/ski free.

Deceptively much bigger than it looks from the highway imo. It’s my favorite spot in Wisconsin only after Granite Peak.
