Pros
- The next best option around that price range (in my honest opinion) is the BYD Ti7 (the flagship version is around 169900.-), which is a very nice car, too.
- TI7 is a great option, but I don't have access to a home charger so I'm avoiding any ev/semi-ev for now
- Parent context: if you don’t need a 7 seater or 6 seater you could go under the budget and consider a BYD Ti7 unless you want something Japanese or german etc Reply: I have driven it around 10k kilometers for about 3 months now S...
- If you're someone who worries about peace of mind go with the Ti7
- I got the Ti7. Peace of mind over features I can live without
Cons
- BYD Ti7 (Budget friendly the reasonable choice, yet I can't stand how it looks)
- I read in a comment that in BYD cars such as the Ti 7 the directions from google maps do not show up on the HUD, is this true from any BYD owners ?
- The deal breakers on the Ti7 for me: - futtaim offers nothing but registration, so when you add insurance, tinting, service package, the price is much more - spare tire either just sits in the trunk or you need to keep it at home.. maj...
- Just got mine today and I’m getting some wind noise above 120 km/h too. Curious if anyone has found an aftermarket fix, or if I’ll end up taking it to the service center to see if they can sort it out
- Little bit of wind noise above 110kmph, bearable. No spare tyre provided with the car, might be annoying some day.

100% BYD Ti 7 even the starting option for 156 is great... i’ve test driven it and it drives phenomenally and seats are crazy comfy with good gas mileage and economy. just lacks a spare tire which is the only disadvantage in my opinion. the tech is crazy.
The deal breakers on the Ti7 for me: - futtaim offers nothing but registration, so when you add insurance, tinting, service package, the price is much more - spare tire either just sits in the trunk or you need to keep it at home.. major deal breaker for me, especially since they are not run on flats. Other than the above, lovely car.
