Pros

  • Parent context: Is Bulova a good watch brand? This watch looks amazing. Reply: Sure, it's an interesting brand at least. An American brand actually, producing watches since the 1910s.
  • Love that Bulova. Been wanting a watch like that for a while
  • 2. Bulova - I’m selective with which models, but I appreciate their dynamic heritage, something that I believe they don’t leverage enough
  • The Big Four American heritage companies have been killing it lately: Ball, Hamilton, Bulova, and Timex.
  • I think this watch and Bulova overall are very underrated.

Cons

  • Bulova had tremendous heritage. How they didnt lean into the tuning fork and instead went with massive fashion watches is fucknf beyond me.
  • Bulova is a little borderline in term of rep (not necessarily quality), while Invicta is complete and utter trash.
  • Bulova can be hit or miss, depending on models. They have some bangers, and some absolute dogs.
  • Parent context: I have a pretty bad impression of Bulova because of their lineup right now; very true Reply: ever since i got into watches, one of the very first question i asked and wondered was just why the heck am i able to buy a wall...
  • One thing I wish was done better was the box and packaging. I understand it’s a mid-level watch, however you see $90 Invictas having a nice “leather” cushioned box. This watch box feels like the watch is wiggling around a bit much for my...

Parent context: Is Bulova a good watch brand? This watch looks amazing. Reply: They have more history and contributed to the advancement of horology more than most brands ever did. And they still do stuff no one else does like this 262kHz movement.

Bulova is one of few watch brands that constantly are actually trying and release alot of more interesting pieces. Good quality and definitely watches you can keep for a lifetime.
