Brother is the best
It's one of my favorites as well! It nailed the nasty, hot, swampy feeling of the setting and the tragedy of the protagonist.
Brother is a book that sticks with me. I’ll never read it again because it was so soul-crushing, but I find myself thinking about it regularly.
I read a few of Ahlborn's books, but Brother is still my fave.
In the middle of Brother now, I am digging it. Love Ahlborns work.
I read a library copy of Brother. As soon as I finished, I went out and bought my own copy. It’s one of the best books I’ve ever read.
Loved that book. I think I read it two or three years ago now and was instantly my oersonal book of the year.
I finished Brother in 5 days! There were 2 days where I read 100+ pages because I just couldn't put the thing down. ... it was time spent on some of the best fiction I have ever read! This would not have happened if what I was reading wasn't good, and Brother was AMAZING. ... Brother by Ania Ahlborn: 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND
