Authentik

Pros

• one for my netbird hub on a VPS (everything here is only accessible with authentik)
• A single instance of IDM, currently Authentik, planning to switch to Kanidm.
• Would you be looking for a 2FA/MFA solution? Something like authelia or authentik which should have inegration with reverse proxies like NPM, caddy, Traefik, etc

Cons

• The same complaints everybody has: resource heavy, forward auth problems, maintenance, complexity, poor documentation.
• Authentik has something like that but I can't exactly recommend it as I've had nothing but problems but it does have a landing page type thing
• I don't use any kind of additional login like authentik, I just rely on the login and security of each individual app
• The NetScaler will probably get replaced by a Traefik/Authentik container or haproxy
• I used to run Authentik for years, but when I moved to Proxmox, I realized how bloated it was... Authentik is written in python which is one reason it's so heavy.
