Audi Q7

Pros

• I’d actually be tempted by the Q7 because it’s at the end of its life cycle so a lot of the issues will have been sorted.
• It will absolutely chew through those miles. Lots of power, very quiet, acceptable fuel mileage, enough space for all the kids/dog/stuff. ... Maintenance isn't as cheap as a Lexus, but the main components and driveline are quite reliable.
• if you want an SUV, the BMW X5, Loaded Audi Q7 are your best bet.
• Parent context: The prestige package has everything we needed and the air suspension ride nicely. Reply: Agree on the Q7, I feel it rides better than X5.
• We're currently using my mom's Audi Q7 which is very nice but need to get our own car ASAP.

Cons

• The prestige package has everything we needed and the air suspension ride nicely. Driving assistance is not as powerful as X5... 2nd row is spacious but the seat cushion can be a couple inches deeper, 1/3 of my thighs were not supported....

• I heard Audi has oil leak issues and probably that’s why their used car value is depreciating a lot. But it is still considered a good German car IMO.
• The Q7 has a 3rd row if that's important. Other than that its a little outdated compared to the BMW and Merc but its not a bad car.
