- If i put it in turbo mode through the armory crate. It does get hot and very loud, usually use it on silent for everyday tasks as that limits power but its completely silent and proformance when playing demanding game.

Is this a good laptop for this price? I'm buying this laptop and I already gave a payment in advance (the store allows that to respect the deal if you don't have all the money at the moment) but I'm not really sure if it is a good one I did some research and it's a 2021 laptop

If you’re in Canada, I’ve seen some good prices on ASUS TUF A15 (3060) and Gigabyte G5 (4060) at best buy
TUF A15 or LOQ, followed by F15. Assuming this is a TUF that isn't using the design from before 2022, both are comparable in build quality and have higher TGP. Usually comparable display too. Battery life on the TUF is longer due to the bigger battery (90Whr Vs 60Whr)
Something like the Legion 5 or ASUS TUF A15 with an RTX 4060 would handle BG3 beautifully and give you full mod support.
I'd also strongly consider the ASUS TUF A15... Both offer excellent value in your price range with clean, professional designs that don't scream "gaming laptop." For battery life priorities, the TUF A15 with a Ryzen 7 7735HS and RTX 4050 can stretch to 7-8 hours for office work when using integrated graphics mode.

Personaly I've the an asus a15 . Its a pretty good laptop. Though the 7435hs doesn't have an igpu if you care about battery life when watching youtube ect.
However Asus is better if both have 7435hs.
