The simple UI is a great switch up from anduril.
I really like that he always flashes the lights to the latest Anduril configuration before they go out the door.
The strobe modes on Anduril are not easily accessible and pretty much impossible to be activated accidentally. I have never done it and I use Anduril all the time.
I like Andùril for it's candle mode, sunset mode, tint ramping etc. The zebra ui is nice for use out and about when you just need the light on high straight away and not much else
The beauty of Anduril is that you don't have to use (or even know) all of its features. You can simply use the basic functions, resulting in something very similar to the Convoy interface... but with ramping that works perfectly :)
The multi channels setup on Anduril is a bit daunting for someone new to Anduril (or someone not interested / don't want to invest and just want to have the flood / throw options).
I know that Anduril is NOT a beginner UI but if you are in a position to have it delivered to you, set it up then give it to your mother, she never needs to know about the advanced features.
Anduril's great, but sometimes it's nice to have a light that won't go into candle mode, alter its own brightness parameters, and / or explode if you press the wrong button combination.
The only UI that is absolutely *perfect* for me is my Anduril setup - love it to pieces. =)
