2010 Honda Accord

Parent context: Mines was at 215,000 miles when I sold it but it was still running strong. I see no porblem getting over 350,000 miles if you keep up maintenance. Reply: No it doesn't. It last the life of the engine as long as you keep up with oil changes. Mines was at 215,000 and it was still in good shape.

If the car has no other major issues outside the ones I listed, $4k for a car that will EASILY last you another 100k+ miles is a good deal.

That has the 2.4 ltr engine and it'll last at least 350,000 miles. Definitely worth the money

Even if the CVT is reliable, the 5 Speed auto is far more indestructible. Combine that with the other issues the Civic has (head gasket + A/C), the Accord is a no brainer.

Accord is the more reliable car. The Accord, while more basic is your standard indestructible Honda, provided it's well maintained. The one problem it had was the VTC actuator, which could've already been solved at it's miles.

For the money, I’d probably go with the Accord if it’s a 4 cylinder.

The Accord prob feels a bit more sturdy bc its midsize. 120k is not high, so its really which one do you like better
